Coda Plastics Ltd had a stand at the Packaging Innovations trade fair at the Birmingham NEC in May this year. The annual event is always a great opportunity to meet industry colleagues and see the latest developments and trends in packaging. We also used the event as an opportunity to launch our new VS range of standard products.
Packaging Innovations is the largest annual event connecting packaging specifiers and buyers with the suppliers, new materials and formats and the expert knowledge to create the future of their brand’s packaging.
Sustainable Plastic Packaging
We particularly wanted to use the event to showcase the first products in our new VS range of standard packaging. VS stands for ‘versatile’ and ‘sustainable’. We want our clients to know that Coda Plastics Ltd is at the forefront of developing sustainable packaging solutions.
All the products in our VS range can be manufactured using minimum 30% Post Consumer Recycled plastic. This makes the products’ manufacture sustainable, a key selling point to an increasingly environmentally conscious customer base. As a bonus, products that use this much PCR do not have to pay the Plastics Tax (currently a levy of £200 per tonne).
Versatile Plastic Packaging
The bottles of various sizes can all be paired with a variety of closures meaning the range is suitable for thousands of potential uses. We’ll be adding more products to the VS range over the coming months.
The launch was heralded a great success by the team members who attended the Packaging Innovations conference. With lots of general interest in the new product range and orders already beginning to arrive.
For more information on the VS range, please speak to our sales team. We can provide cost comparisons to help you to decide the best packaging for your product, and we can supply samples of products using various percentage points of PCR.
