Interplas 2014 At The NEC

Our impressions We visited Interplas on its second day, October 1st, and were very happy with what we saw. The future of plastics in the UK is looking very promising and we left feeling very positive about the industry as a whole. There were many sessions and talks throughout the day, including talks about medical plastics which we at Coda have a hand in manufacturing. All of the talks were very informative and left us feeling re-energised and committed to providing more of our already high standard of quality and service. For any plastic needs that you may have, please contact us at Coda on +44(0) 1692 501020 or send an email to sales@coda-plastics.co.uk. What is Interplas? For over sixty years, Interplas has been used as the number one place for British plastic engineers and manufacturers to present solutions, products and machines to the rest of the UK manufacturing industry. The event showcases nearly 400 exhibitors, allowing visitors to see these new ideas for themselves in action and meet the people responsible. At the heart of the show, however is its extensive range of talks and seminars, curated by leading organisations in the industry including BPF, GTMA, KTN, RAPRA and NetComposities. Once every three years, the whole of the British plastics industry descends on one location for 3 days devoted to all things plastic. This year Interplas, the UK's leading plastics industry event, was situated in Birmingham's prestigious National Exhibition Centre and we at Coda were lucky enough to have the time to attend. Interplas is a great way to see how the plastic industry is changing and what the future will hold, especially for those that are based here in the UK.
