Coda Plastics are an injection and blow moulding company, based in North Walsham, Norfolk. An established manufacturer, Coda Plastics specialises in the manufacture of packaging products including caps, bottles, coffee pods and closures for food contact, personal care, horticultural and medical/veterinary markets.
We are recruiting an experienced Shift Injection Mould Setter to join our busy production team. This is an exciting time to join the team, as we are busy developing new processes and materials to meet the challenges of manufacturing in recycled, biodegradable and compostable materials.
As an Injection Moulding Setter you’ll be responsible for setting and running the production lines, with a primary focus on the efficient running of moulds and injection moulding machines, ensuring that health and safety, quality and production standards are met. Alongside this, you’ll carry out operational tasks associated with manufacturing, maintaining machinery, packaging and inspection of products.

Suitable applicants will have formal training in injection moulding such as a ‘Polymer Training Innovation Course’ or similar at Level 3 or above, and substantive experience working within an injection mould shop, preferably in the area of thin-walled packaging.
It would be desirable if the applicant also had experience of other processes such as Extrusion Blow Moulding, Injection Blow Moulding and PET Stretch Blow Moulding, however successful applicants who do not have this experience may have the opportunity to cross train in these processes.
This is a full time role, with an immediate start. The role would normally be rotating shifts 10-2, 2-10, 6-2, Monday – Friday, but may be required to work day shift, or alternate shift patterns as required.
The role is based in North Walsham, 15 miles north of Norwich. Onsite parking is available, and public transport links are nearby including regular train services to Norwich and Cromer, and buses to Norwich, Cromer and Great Yarmouth.
Salary is dependent on experience, in the region of £20,000 - £30,000.
