We are delighted to announce that a site inspection by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) found our hygiene standards and practices to be exceptional. Following an intense external audit, Coda Plastics Ltd have been awarded the exceptional ‘AA’ status for the BRC’s Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Issue 5 - 2015. The auditors from the BRC examined our manufacturing site and all of our management systems and processes before awarding us top marks.

Who are the BRC?
The British Retail Consortium is a trade association open to all British retailers. They set high standards for business practices and management processes. They make it their mission to improve the retail experience for businesses and customers.
What is this award?
The award is the BRC Global Standard for Packaging & Packaging Materials Issue 5 - 2015. This updated certification stipulates the specifications for a controlled management system and the high level of hygiene required to produce safe, quality packaging products for the food, cosmetic and domestic markets. There are also stringent controls on risk analysis that must be met in order to receive this latest version of the certificate.

Attaining the exceptional standard of ‘AA’ was reached through the determination and effort of the whole Coda Plastics team. Well done everybody!
