As we get to the end of 2025, the whole team has naturally started looking back at what has been quite a full on year. It feels like the months have gone by quickly, but when we stop and list everything out, there’s actually been a lot of progress across the business. Before we take our Christmas break, we wanted to share a few highlights and give you a rough idea of what we expect from the year ahead.
One of the biggest positive steps this year has been the continued development of our design and early-stage processes. Our 3D printing setup has been used more frequently, and it’s become a really helpful tool for getting ideas off the screen and into someone’s hands without delay. It’s already made a noticeable difference to how we move from design discussions into prototyping.
We were also extremely pleased to achieve BRCGS AA certification under the latest issue 7, which is something the team put a lot of energy into. It’s not the sort of thing that gets shouted about every day, but it matters a great deal to our customers and to us. Maintaining that level of quality and control across a busy manufacturing site is a big achievement.
Projects That Really Highlighted What We Do Well
Out of the work we carried out this year, two projects in particular stood out. Both were end-to-end journeys, starting with the initial design conversations and running all the way through prototyping, development, tooling and finally manufacture. We were involved throughout, including on-site support during the technical stages.
What made these projects even nicer is that both clients happened to be based locally. Working with nearby businesses makes everything a bit more streamlined, but it also ties in neatly with the sustainability message that both we and many of our customers are focussed on.
Sustainability and Changing Customer Priorities
Sustainability has been woven through most of the work we’ve done this year. A lot of this progress isn’t the sort that comes with a headline moment, but rather a series of improvements around PCR usage, reduced waste and better material planning across the factory.
From the conversations we’ve had with customers, a few clear trends have come through:
- A stronger push toward UK manufacturing to cut shipping times and reduce carbon footprint.
- More interest in PCR materials, especially above the 30% threshold.
- Increased focus on lightweighting, which is now a standard request rather than an occasional one.
These shifts feel very much in line with where the industry is heading, and they’re areas we’re already well aligned with as a manufacturer.
Preparing for 2026
Looking ahead, we expect 2026 to be another year shaped by sustainability, better efficiencies and the continuing push for packaging solutions that balance performance with environmental responsibility.
It’s too early to confirm anything specific, but with the company now under new ownership, we’re hopeful that this will lead to investment in machinery, tooling and general process improvements. That could include advances across injection moulding, extrusion blow moulding, injection blow moulding and PET stretch blow moulding - any of which would help us support larger volumes and shorter lead times.
We’re also anticipating conversation around highly recyclable materials, lighter packaging formats and clever ways to reduce plastic usage without affecting strength or function.
A Note to Customers Planning Their 2026 Projects
If you’re already sketching out ideas for next year’s packaging or just starting to think about what you might need, feel free to get in touch - it’s always easier to talk things over early on. Whether you’re at the very first design conversations or you’re almost ready to move into production, we’ll meet you wherever you are in the process.
Nothing about our core approach has changed: we still put reliability, quality, flexibility and a practical hands-on kind of technical innovation at the heart of the work we do.
Christmas Opening Hours & Contact Information
We’ll be closing at 5pm on 23rd December and reopening on 5th January 2026 so our team can have a well-earned break over Christmas and New Year.
