Secondary Operations
Many customers have come to rely on Coda Plastics for more than just plastic injection moulding. Our secondary operations department offers a number of value added services that can simplify and streamline your production schedule.
- Decoration - Our in house decoration team are skilled in a number of decoration processes. We can print your products in all axis and have a wealth of experience hot foil blocking of plastics parts, caps and bottles, including the capability to 360º decorate products. We offer a labelling service for high and low volume production.
- Specialized Coatings - A range of specialized coatings can be applied to your packaging. Coda have agreements with an approved group of suppliers to enable us to offer coatings including vacuum metallisation, specialised spraying and film coating as well as pressed metal applications.
- Automatic Assembly - For high volume assembly we utilize the latest robotic assembly cells, with 100% vision inspection systems fitted inline the robot cells are designed to work within the cycle time of the tool and manage the output of the product to the required zero defect standard
- Manual Assembly - For our customers whose requirements are for a low volume assembly solution or for pre production assembly, development and testing we have a manual assembly department. Utilizing the skills of our tooling team we are able to design and manufacture the required jigs and fixtures to make the manual assembly as efficient as possible to keep costs competitive.
